Welcome to The Ultimate Investor Insider community. This is David Leiter, Founder of THE ULTIMATE INVESTOR.
I started on Wall Street at Credit Suisse in the late '90s, and have 30 years of investing experience in stocks, real estate, and private business-related operations and investments.
For the last several years, I've been teaching what I've learned out of disgust at watching good people get suckered over and over again into hyped-up, bad investments and lose their hard-earned money.
The mission here is simple: help people avoid the bad investment schemes, promotions, amateurs, scammers, and charlatans, and then realize where truly great investments are found (spoiler: not usually widely advertised).
In the end, it's all about two things:
1. Understanding how markets work (stocks and real estate) and how to take advantage of the market (rather than be whipsawed by markets), and...
2. How to value assets.
