Discover how Tarot and Astrology weave together to reveal your cosmic story.
In this course, you’ll learn the meaning of all planets, zodiac signs, and houses in a different way — and how they align with the symbolism of Tarot. Explore how planetary energies influence each card, deepen your readings, and unlock a new dimension of insight through the union of stars and symbols.
From intro from the course:
When it comes to the subject of Tarot, you take some of the texts from astrology, interpret them for the card you are contemplating. You can also take the "text" you have about each card and apply it under an astrological aspect. They complement each other.
The first nine cards of the Major Arcana correspond to the nine planets.
The subsequent cards represent zodiac signs, though not in the zodiac order.
  • The Fool - The Sun
  • The Magician - Mercury
  • The High Priestess - The Moon
  • The Empress - Venus
  • The Emperor - Earth
  • The Hierophant - Mars
  • The Lovers - Jupiter
  • The Chariot - Saturn
  • Strength - Uranus
  • The Hermit - Neptune
  • The Wheel of Fortune - Gemini
  • Justice - Sagittarius
  • The Hanged Man - Pisces
  • Death - Scorpio
  • Temperance - Libra
  • The Devil - Capricorn
  • The Tower - Aries
  • The Star - Aquarius
  • The Moon - Cancer
  • The Sun - Leo
  • Judgement - Virgo
  • The World - Taurus
For example, if you draw the 6 of Pentacles in a Tarot reading. What you know from Tarot is that it is an Earth sign —the 2nd decan in Virgo. The aspect is Negative, mutable, and fixed.
Negative = feminine, receptive energy, mutable, an active energy, and fixed, grounded in it. This aligns well with the card that is about absorbing energy and developing it to ground oneself in it.
Then you always have a planet in the first 9 cards of the Major Arcana and the following 12 of the zodiac signs.
Some additional subjects and methods can complement astrology. For me, who deals with several different subjects, I created the Prism Tarot deck, which, in addition to astrology, also incorporates colors. Each house has a color; the more you know about the color, the more you understand about the energy associated with each house.
It follows the chakra scale up to the 10 chakras, from red in the 1st house (Aries) to pink in the 10th house (Capricorn), then complements them with gold, the masculine energy in the 11th house, and silver, the feminine energy in the 12th house.
The 12 zodiac signs are alternately positive or negative, that is, masculine or feminine power, just like in the four suits of Tarot.
The fact that there are four shows the symbolism of the Yin-Yang symbols. The black, which is positive and masculine, has a feminine, white, negative side within it. Thus, there are four energies: black with white, white with black.
There are 16 cards in the Tarot deck that are the people, the personality cards, or the court cards. The four cards in each suit are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
Each suit has an element of its own, which corresponds to the four elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. All Wands are Fire, Cups water, Pentacles earth, and Swords air. This gives each personality both the attributes of the element and also of the element it represents.
All Pages are earth, all Knights air, all Queens water, and all Kings fire, which gives them a combination of both the suit and their character. This means that all Pages are earth, then of their element, and so on.
Page, Knight, Queen, and King of Wands = Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius
Page, Knight, and King of Cups = Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces
Page, Knight, Queen, and King of Pentacles = Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn
Page, Knight, Queen, and King of Swords = Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius
This means that in each suit, there is a card that is doubly its element, like the Page of Pentacles = Earth of earth, the Knight of Swords = Air of Air, the Queen of Cups = Water of water, and the King of Wands = Fire of Fire.
Fire and Air are positive, corresponding to the masculine suits Wands and Swords.
Water and Earth signs are negative, corresponding to the feminine aspects of Cups and Pentacles.
There are three forms, statuses to be in: Cardinal, fixed, or mutable.
Divided among 12 zodiac signs, there are four Cardinal, four fixed, and four mutable.
However, each status is paired with either a combination of positive and negative statuses or with one of the other two statuses. This means there is only one combination of each, except for the Ace of Wands (1st decan Aries), which is Positive + Cardinal + Cardinal, similar to the 4 of Swords (1st decan Libra), which is also Positive + Cardinal + Cardinal. Two masculine suits, Wands and Swords, what distinguishes them is the elements Fire versus Air. But it is the same with each sign's opposite in the zodiac.
  • Aries - Libra.
  • Taurus - Scorpio.
  • Gemini - Sagittarius.
  • Cancer - Capricorn.
  • Leo - Aquarius.
  • Virgo - Pisces
In these combinations, you see the two characteristics together. Suppose you consider Aries, the 1st decan, which is also associated with the Ace of Wands. It is Cardinal + Cardinal. Also, keep in mind that positive indicates acting energy, and negative indicates receptive energy.
Aries is cardinal, the first decan is Cardinal, which makes the Ace of Wands stronger with cardinal characteristics than both the 2 and 3 of Wands. To make it easier to think about the decans, divide each period into three parts of about 9 days each.
  • The first decan is Ace of Wands
  • The second decan is 2 of Wands.
  • The third decan is 3 of Wands.
  • The second fire sign is Leo
  • The first decan is 4 of Wands
  • Second decan is 5 of Wands
  • Third decan is 6 of Wands
  • The third fire sign is Sagittarius
  • The first decan is 7 of Wands
  • Second decan is 8 of Wands
  • Third decan is 9 of Wands
  • 10 of Wands has its energy in Chiron, expressed in Fire.
Minor Arcana associations:
The first three cards (Ace, 2, 3) in each suit correspond to the first zodiac sign of that element:
Wands = Aries

Swords = Gemini
The next three cards (4, 5, 6) correspond to the second sign of the element:
Wands = Leo
Cups = Scorpio
Pentacles = Virgo
Swords = Libra
The last three cards (7, 8, 9) correspond to the third sign of the element:
Wands = Sagittarius
Cups = Pisces
Pentacles = Capricorn
Swords = Aquarius
Chiron governs Card number 10 in the Minor Arcana in all signs of the element.
All Aces are associated with Mercury.2 Twos with the Moon.3 Threes with Venus.4 Four with Gaia (Earth) or the Sun.5 Fives with Mars.6 Sixes with Jupiter.7 Sevens with Saturn.8 Eights with Uranus.9 Nines with Neptune.10 Tens in the Minor Arcana with Chiron.
