The "Lead With Proof" Playbook FREE - Monday Challenge! Use It Right Now!
Here's the lesson before the how-to: in regulated spaces, you can't always make bold promises, but you can always tell a true story about a real outcome. That story does more lifting than "as a licensed professional" ever will. I review a lot of content from agents, advisors, attorneys, insurance pros, and the pattern is everywhere. Everyone opens with their resume. "15 years in the business." "Licensed since 2008." "Certified, accredited, board-approved." None of that is wrong, it's just not interesting. Nobody scrolling is verifying your paperwork. They're trying to figure out if you can solve their problem. So flip it. Open with the result. Let the credential close, not open. "As an advisor, let's talk retirement planning" becomes "Someone walked in convinced retirement was a decade away. Three moves later, that timeline changed." Same person, same license, completely different reason to keep reading. Here's how to actually get this posted today, no overthinking required: Grab your phone. That's your camera. Find a window for natural light, ten seconds, done. Hit record and tell one real story, a client, a deal, a moment that worked out. Start with what happened, not who you are. Talk for 30-60 seconds, one story, one outcome, and if you stumble, keep rolling, real beats polished every time. Close it out with your "by the way," your years, your license, your certifications. Now it lands as proof instead of an intro. Post it. No editing, no overthinking. One caption line using the lesson above works perfectly.
