There's a difference between being advised through the hard parts and being nurtured through them.

Advice is someone talking at you from the other side. Nurturing is someone who's been through it sitting with you while you figure it out. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.

That gap, between "here's what to do" and "I'm still here while you do it," is where most community-building efforts quietly die. Not because the advice was wrong. Because 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘆.
