What if summer does have a rhythm?
This weekend, I heard a phrase that stuck with me:“Summer has no rhythm—everything is just chaos.” And honestly, it got me thinking.
Is that really true? Or could it be that summer does have a rhythm, just not the one we’re used to, or willing to recognize?
Most of us associate “rhythm” with structure, routines, fixed schedules. But summer doesn’t follow those rules. Summer is wild. Expansive. It pushes us to move more, go out, improvise. Sometimes it even overwhelms us. But that doesn’t mean it’s rhythmless. It just means it dances to a different beat.
The key is to observe, not to control. Because once you realize that the season has its own pace, even if it’s fast, unpredictable, or uncomfortable, you stop fighting it. You begin to adapt. You stop forcing yourself to move at the same pace all year long. You learn to dance with the season, not in spite of it, but with it.
And that’s where the transformation begins. When you stop resisting the chaos and look at it differently. When you realize it’s not the season that’s bothering you. It’s trying to force a rhythm that no longer fits.
So what if real wisdom is in recognizing the rhythm, even when it’s not perfect and being grateful for it just as it is? A reminder that life shifts... and you can shift with it.
