It's NOT Cheating!
“Cheating?” Let’s clear something up.
I was at a meeting recently and someone said about a woman who lost weight, "Well… she’s cheating. She’s on Ozempic.”
Cheating?
Here’s what I’ve noticed over the years. The people who say this are usually the ones who have never struggled with their weight. They’ve never lived with food noise and never fought insulin resistance. Never had their body work against them.
Obesity and Type 2 diabetes are diseases, not personality flaws. And for the first time, we have medications that actually help treat the biology behind them.
Let me tell you what “cheating” has done for me:
  • My A1C is 5.3
  • My blood pressure is better
  • I’m off my CPAP machine
  • My labs are better
  • My quality of life is better
Nobody says you’re cheating when you take blood pressure meds. Nobody says you’re cheating when you use insulin. But when weight loss finally happens, suddenly everyone has an opinion.
Here’s the truth: When you’ve never walked this road, it’s easy to judge how someone else survives it.
This community is about health, not suffering. About tools, not shame. About results, not approval.
You are not cheating. You are treating a disease. And if it’s working, that’s called progress.
💜 You belong here.💪 Keep going.
