Hi Everyone! It has literally been MONTHS since I last posted here. After getting married, life hit us with some unexpected turns that included huge life changes, health issues, death...and so many other things. So I just needed to take a step away to grieve, regroup and get into a better mental and emotional place. It was a constant struggle to stay afloat but I kept remembering how much I wanted to do this year and the goals I had set for myself, so even during difficult times, when I would have a few minutes, I would create something small or jot down ideas on my phone. I didn't put pressure on myself to produce or to finish anything, I just let my ideas flow and made sure to store them somewhere other than my brain. It was actually therapeutic. After a few months, those "little" thoughts and ideas were eventually developed into full chapters, posts and other creations I hope to show the world very soon. I built up enough momentum to finish the book I had been writing and I'm excited to announce that it's now in the last round of beta reading before I send it off to my editor (yay!).
This week I've also decided to rip off the social media band-aid and start posting on my account @theembodiedglow. I aim to make daily posts but sometimes I just ride the wave of motivation and post as much as I'm inspired to post at that moment. I'm still trying to figure out my "schedule" and the aesthetic and all of those other things, but the leap for me now is to share my account with you all and invite you to follow my content creation journey. It's a big step because I've never liked people seeing the unfinished parts of my process but I'm going to change that! So if you'd like to follow me, my IG account is @theembodiedglow and I'd love to hopefully give you little pieces of inspiration through my posts.
While I hope to develop this into something much bigger as time goes on, right now, I am just working on being consistent and posting my thoughts openly without stifling my words.
thank you for holding this space where I can come back and share my progress 💜. I'm excited to engage more with the group again.
