🤝Introduce Yourself! [ START HERE ]
Welcome to the community, and congrats on taking a big step for your marriage. Whether you're here for communication, intimacy, or faith, this space can truly impact your relationship, especially if you stay engaged. We are growing each week and it is great for fellow believers to know each other on the community 😄 Please introduce yourself in the comments and take some time to write the following: - How long have you been married? - What’s something awesome about your spouse? - What do you aim to achieve in the community? Please also go through the comments afterwards, see who is here and feel free to connect with people in the comments. (Always use the reply function for this) We are looking forward to meeting you! 🚨New Onboarding (Important!) 🚨
Hey friends! We’re making some updates in this community, and as part of that we’ve created a short Onboarding module to get everyone up to speed. You are the heartbeat of this community, and we’d love to hear more from you while helping you connect with like-minded people. We don’t want to be the only ones posting here, so we truly appreciate everyone who is already active—commenting, liking, and sharing posts. The Onboarding will only take a few minutes, but it will walk you through the values and vibe of this community, so you can get the most out of being part of it ❤️ P.S. There’s a little free gift waiting for you at the end of the Onboarding 😉 Onboarding: https://www.skool.com/the-married-life-8800/classroom/bc7bcd83?md=4fd6239b51624ff6be01692cb83b0a7e

What is the most thoughtful or surprising gift received from your spouse or meaningful date night experienced? (Dan says flood the comments, he needs ideas)😉😆🥰
Marriage Reminder 📖
James 1:19 “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.” 💡 Before responding to your spouse today, pause and ask: 👉 Am I listening to understand… or listening to reply? Quick to listen builds connection. Slow to speak prevents regret. Slow to anger protects unity.

?Words we choose can affect our tone & life direction?
It's called the "Rudder" Effect. Like a small rudder controlling a large ship. The tongue controls the direction of a person's life... interesting. Saw this today, then looked for scriptures and found these. Proverbs 15:1 Soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:4 says, A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Proverbs 16:24 Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Your thoughts, have you ever heard of the Rudder Effect?
