Why Skip Tracing Quality Matters (and Which Tools Actually Deliver) 📞

Recently I have been trying out different data providers to see which one has the better data and in my experience, PropStream has some of the weakest skip tracing data out there. ❌
The records often come back incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong which wastes time and money when you’re trying to scale.
On the other hand, I’ve found that:
DealMachine ✅ consistently gives me more accurate numbers and fresher data.
BatchLeads ✅ is also a powerhouse, especially if you’re hitting volume. Better connects, better hit rates.
Why does this matter?
When you’re chasing your first deal (or your 50th), quality data = quality conversations.
If your skip tracing is off, you’re just burning through leads with bad info.
If your data is sharp, your calls actually connect → which means offers → which means deals.
💡 Takeaway: Don’t just look at price when picking a tool.
Saving $30 on skip tracing but losing deals to bad data is the most expensive “savings” you’ll ever make.
