๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’ธ Story Post: "Why Chasing a Deal Almost Burned Me"
Let me tell you about the time I wasted 3 weeks chasing a deal that never closed.
It started with a seller who seemed motivated.
He said all the right thingsโ€ฆ
โœ… โ€œYeah, Iโ€™m ready to sell.โ€
โœ… โ€œJust send the contract.โ€
โœ… โ€œLet me talk to my wife and Iโ€™ll get back to you.โ€
โœ… โ€œJust give me a few more daysโ€ฆโ€
So I waitedโ€ฆ
โ€ฆand followed upโ€ฆ
โ€ฆand waited some more.
I was checking my email like a crazy person, thinking this deal was going to be the one.
But hereโ€™s the truth:
๐Ÿ‘‰ If you have to chase a seller, theyโ€™re not motivated.
๐Ÿ‘‰ If they keep stalling, theyโ€™re not ready.
๐Ÿ‘‰ If youโ€™re always the one following upโ€ฆ youโ€™re not negotiating โ€” youโ€™re begging.
That deal?
Never signed.
Wasted time.
Zero dollars.
And while I was chasing it, I missed another lead that was ready.
๐Ÿง  Lesson:
Motivated sellers donโ€™t need to be convinced โ€” they need to be helped.
Now I use this mindset:
โ€œIf I have to chase you, Iโ€™m not the buyer for you.โ€
Focus on momentum.
Focus on motivation.
Let go of dead weight.
Trust me โ€” the money is in the easy yes, not the never-ending maybe. ๐Ÿ’ฏ
