Your Destiny is Not a Cage
In many spiritual communities, one of the most common questions is:
“What is my purpose?"
"What is my destiny?”
But underneath those questions is often a quiet assumption — that our destiny is small, fixed, or assigned.
That somewhere in the universe there’s a narrow slot we’re supposed to fill. A role already written. A function already defined.
Cogs in a cosmic system.
Spokes in a wheel that keeps turning whether we’re conscious or not.
But you are not a cog. You are not a spoke.
You are not a replaceable part in a divine factory.
You are here to awaken.
To create.
To choose.
To expand.
Reflection Questions
Take time to sit with these:
When I think about “my purpose,” do I imagine something small and fixed — or expansive and evolving?
Where in my life have I been acting like a cog instead of a conscious creator?
What fears arise when I consider that my destiny might be bigger than I’ve allowed?
