We Are All Visitors Here—So How Will You Live?
We are all visitors to this earth.
That’s something my Yoruba friend Ade often says. My mom taught me the same truth in a different way.
She said: We’re not here to turn into stone.
We’re here to move, to grow, to shed what no longer matters. To use our time wisely. To let go of what hardens us—old fears, grudges, distractions, identities that no longer fit.
Our spiritual journey doesn’t end here. At some point, we’ll be invited to explore other dimensions, other realities.
Led by the ancestors, by wisdom older than us, by something that knows the way.
So, here’s the reflection I want to offer this space:
If you truly saw yourself as a visitor here…
  • What would you stop holding onto?
  • What would you take more seriously?
  • How would you move differently this season of your life.
👇 Drop your reflection below: Finish this sentence in the comments: "If I’m only a visitor here, I want to leave behind ______ and live more fully by ______.”
Let’s reflect together.
