I no longer have to earn love by being the good one, the easy one, the accomplished one, or the one who does not need much. I can be loved when I am soft. I can be loved when I am still. I can be loved when I am not proving, fixing, managing, or performing. I can receive love without treating it like a debt I have to repay. I am learning that love can come toward me without me chasing it, forcing it, or becoming smaller to keep it. I do not have to perform to be loved. I can let love meet me. I can let myself be chosen. I can let myself receive.
