Memento Mori. Pull the Pin. Play Big
The items are anchors to EMERGENCE experiences that I have hosted in the past. Each participant would receive the above to re-connect them with the message of that day moving forward. Each item says everything without needing to say anything.
A chain.
A simple tag stamped with Memento Mori—remember, you will die.
And beside it, a poker chip that reads: Think Big. Act Big. Play Big.
Two truths, resting side by side.
One reminds you that time is finite.
The other challenges you to decide what you’re going to do about it.
Memento mori is not a threat. It’s a wake-up call.
It doesn’t whisper fear—it demands clarity.
One day, this all ends.
Not in theory.
In reality.
And when that truth settles in, excuses lose their power.
Waiting feels irresponsible.
Playing small feels disrespectful—to your potential, your calling, and the people your life was meant to impact.
The chain matters too.
Chains can represent weight—habits, fear, past failures, expectations.
The things we carry without questioning why. But chains can also anchor reminders. Something you keep close so you don’t forget who you are when life gets loud.
Memento Mori isn’t about death. It's about urgency.
And the poker chip? That’s says 'make your move'...and always bet on you.
Life is a game of decisions, risk, and courage.
You don’t win by folding every hand. You don’t change the outcome by sitting safely on the sidelines.
At some point, you have to push your chips forward and say, I’m in. ALL IN.
Think big—because small thinking costs just as much time.
Act big—because clarity without action is just self-deception.
Play big—because you don’t get extra credit for unused potential.
The contrast is the message:
You are running out of time. So stop running from responsibility.
Don’t wait for confidence—it’s built after action.
Don’t wait for permission—it rarely comes.
Don’t wait for “someday”—it’s not on the calendar.
Carry the reminder.
Honor the clock.
Then step forward with intention.
When this is all over, may it be said that you didn’t just exist—you engaged.
You didn’t just survive—you committed.
You didn’t just remember death—you chose life.
Memento mori.
And what about the dice?
It simply is a reminder to roll the dice and bet on you.
