Staying locked in/consistent

I feel like a lot of players including myself struggle staying locked in and consistent throughout a full ranked match. An example being a game at 7-2, you’re winning and fragging and it seems you’re on pace to win the game. Then you just go on auto pilot and then it’s 7-5 and they win the pistol next half and the you’re negative and losing. How does one avoid autopiloting and constantly being locked in to win
