The Witch’s Self-devotion Jar
The Witch’s Self-Devotion Jar
A Sunday craft for reclaiming love on your own terms
This isn’t a love spell to attract anyone.
This is a working to anchor yourself back into your own body, worth, and steadiness.
Because self-love is not affirmations.
It’s containment.
You’ll need:
Use what you have. Witches don’t shop out of insecurity.
Herbs
Rose (self-love, softness without weakness)
Lavender (nervous system calm, emotional protection)
Basil (self-respect, personal authority)
Chamomile (gentle strength, rest)
Mugwort (intuition, sovereignty, female sight)
Even one or two is enough. This isn’t about perfection.
Other items
A small jar or bottle
A piece of paper
Black or red pen
One candle (black, red, or white. No rules.)
The Working
Sit. One hand on your chest.
One on your stomach.
Breathe until your body drops its shoulders.
Write this, or something like it:
I return my energy to myself.
I release what demanded me without care.
I am allowed to be soft and powerful at the same time.
Fold the paper toward you.
Layer the herbs slowly. As you add each one, say quietly:
I keep what nourishes me.
I release what drains me.
Seal the jar. Hold it in both hands. Don’t beg. Don’t ask. Just acknowledge:
I am already enough.
Light the candle. Let it burn for a few minutes. You’re not charging the jar. You’re witnessing yourself.
How to use it
Keep it by your bed, altar, or desk
Hold it when you feel overwhelmed or doubting yourself
This is not a spell you “finish”
It’s a reminder you return to
Witch Truth
Self-love magic isn’t loud.
It doesn’t perform.
It doesn’t explain itself.
It sits. It stays. It survives.
And that is power.
