Been training for Hyrox for 4 months (May4)
I got invited to join a Mixed Doubles team for the first HYROX in SLC. September 19 will be D-Day. I started training May 4, and it’s now been four months of consistent work. I’ve gone from hating running (Especially on the treadmill) to finding the right shoes (NOT zero drop!) and improving drastically. A speed that used to make me feel like I was falling apart is now a speed I can comfortably maintain in Zone1. Gone from just holding on for the eight HYROX movements to learning and mastering the mechanics of each one. I can move more weight. I can run further & faster. There’s still work to do, but looking back at where I started four months ago makes me realize just how much progress consistent training can create. I’m really excited to share the programming that has helped me get here, and I’ll have it available on the website soon. September 19 is D-Day. Time to see what four months of work can do!
Corporate Hog to Hybrid Athlete
I started this Skool community with a pretty simple goal: Help corporate hogs like my former self get back into the gym and become athletes again. 💪 If you joined because I personally sent you an invite, thank you. Seriously. There’s a free tier, and simply having you here and supporting what I’m building means a lot to me. But while you’re here, I want you to think about something: What does the best physical version of YOU actually look like? Not someone on Instagram. Not who you were 10 years ago. You, at your best. 👇 Drop your answers below: 1. Body-wise, what does the best version of yourself look like? 2. Does the best version of you lift heavy? 3. Does the best version of you run? 4. Is the best version of you flexible and mobile? 5. On a scale of 1–100, how close are you today to becoming that person? There are no right answers. The point is to define your athlete first. Then we start building that person. 🔥
