One of the biggest mistakes I see in our industry is believing that confidence comes from memorizing more protocols. Confidence doesn’t come from knowing what step comes next. Confidence comes from understanding why you’re doing it. Protocols can be helpful when you’re learning, but real client results happen when you can analyze the skin in front of you, identify variables, adapt your approach, and problem-solve when things don’t go as planned.
