Origin: I am a software engineer in the gaming industry. I spent the first 3 years on the gaming side, then transitioned to more tools creation and design for about half a year until I recently transitioned to working on business applications to avoid the stagnation that was happening in the tools/design.

Desired Future State: Working in the VR gaming industry pushing it's bounds and living in Japan.

Why: I find VR fascinating and think that there could be a lot more done with it than currently has been. I find the gaming creation aspect enjoyable and any advancements in the VR gaming will be transferable to the industry as a whole which can provide a lot of benefit for the other fields. For Japan, I like the country and want to experience what it is to live there and have the ability to easily explore the surrounding countries.

Fears: Not finding opportunities to get to Japan or not within a timely manner. Not directly working in the VR industry and so not being able to successfully pivot into that field.
