Welcome to The Back Corner Garden 🌿
We tend plants and ourselves here. We grow at our own pace. No pressure to post. No pressure to keep up. No perfection required. You don’t need a green thumb. You don’t need to have it all together. Just curiosity, patience, and room to breathe. If you’re here, welcome yourself. What’s one thing you’re hoping to grow this season? What’s one thing you’re learning to be patient with? Pull up a chair in the corner — we’ll grow slowly, together

Back to the soil
This season is about rebuilding. I’m bringing a garden back to life after stepping away and leaving it untended for a while and choosing to start where I am instead of waiting for “perfect.” Slow progress, learning as I go, and letting consistency do the work. Progress lives in what you do consistently

Garden Roll Call 🌿
Tending Before Planting
Laying pavers. Setting the greenhouse. Creating a space where growth can actually happen. I’m noticing how often we want results before we’ve made space. Before things feel stable. Before the foundation is ready. This season feels less like action and more like alignment. Less rushing to grow, more tending what’s already here. What are you preparing right now, even if nothing is visible yet?

Tending Before Planting
Prep season 🌱
Laying weed barrier reminded me that growth starts long before anything looks beautiful. This season is for clearing, protecting, and making space in the garden and in life. Protecting the space before the growth begins. Blooms will come. 🌿
