Art Foundations 101 Lesson 1
Here’s the second part of lesson 1 which I did yesterday and once again tried twice since I wasn’t satisfied with the first one. Today, I’ll try to continue lesson 1 but on a bigger sketchbook! I think by limiting my space could be a reason I tried it twice.
I interpreted the Negative space study VERY differently! I don’t know if it’s because I’m more of a beginner in the sense of no classes but just drawing what I want.
Once again no reference photos but this was an ivy plant in a glass vase. The leaves were coming down to the right. I thought with negative space it is the area in the spaces of the leaves or vines. Next time, I’ll try it as around a whole object.
