Sometimes the thing we let go of was something we thought was "truth" or just who we are, I'll go first, a big one for me has been the fierce independence. I just believed I was strong a stubborn and didn't need help. Turns out I never felt safe enough to allow myself to feel that need. At some point in my life I learned that needing help made me weak or less than. Meanwhile anyone in my life that loved me and wanted to help me was robbed of that opportunity by my fear and wall of protection. Getting to know this about myself has changed my perspective on a soul level. #workinprogress
