I want to share something with you because my intention is for this to be a sacred place. A place where you can be naked in truth, transparent without judgment, and held in a safe space that honors your whole self. So I want to offer you this untitled poem. I’m open to suggestions on names. Sabrina♥️🖤💚 Poem: Untitled I’ve reached that place in life where the math starts mathing where the days behind me feel heavier than the days ahead. Where time ain’t theoretical anymore, it’s tactile. It’s a pulse. It’s a pressure. It’s a whisper saying, If you’re gonna do it… do it now. And still I feel stuck. Like my feet got questions my spirit already answered. Like my dreams are calling collect and fear keeps hanging up. I look around and see people doing the things I want to do building communities, speaking truth, holding space, lifting women but they don’t look like me. They don’t sound like me. They don’t carry my history, my softness, my scars, my southern‑born soul. And I get self‑conscious. I get small. I get quiet. I get caught in that loop where fear becomes a full‑time job and courage feels like unpaid overtime. But let me just say my heart has always known its assignment. I’ve always had a tenderness for people trying to make it through. Especially women who’ve been holding their breath for years. Women who need other women to remind them they’re not crazy, they’re not alone, they’re not too much, they’re not too late. I’ve always wanted to build that a circle, a refuge, a room where women can put their shoulders down and be held by other women who actually see them. But fear… fear demobilized me. Fear told me to wait. Fear told me to watch. Fear told me other people were already doing it better. Fear told me I was behind. Fear told me I was too old to start something new. But fear is a liar with excellent timing. Because the truth is I’m not late.
