People don’t have to like you in every season of your life. Growth often makes people uncomfortable. When you begin to evolve, set boundaries, or step into a new calling, it may disrupt the version of you that others were comfortable with. That’s okay. Your assignment isn't to be popular; it’s to be purposeful. God is not taking everyone on this journey. Some people were only meant to be "seasonal passengers." They were there for the lessons of the valley, but they aren't equipped for the atmosphere of the mountain. When God begins to thin the crowd around you, don't try to force people to stay who have already been released from your story. Let God do what God is trying to do. If He is closing a door, stop trying to pick the lock. If He is removing a seat at your table, stop trying to pull up a chair. Trust the process of the "Shift." Sometimes God has to isolate you so He can officially insulate you for what’s next. Stay focused. Stay faithful. Not everyone can go where you’re going—and that is exactly by design.
