Embry is the newest rescue. His siblings and mother passed during labor on September 10, 2025. He was the lone survivor. To start with I was not sure how he was going to do because he didn’t want to take the bottle. I prayed over him and sang Jesus Loves Me to him. We had to get a preemie bottle with a small nipple to start with. It didn’t take too long for him to graduate to a bigger bottle and nipple. He loves jumping around and seeing how high he can jump. He loves going into the duck pin and chasing the ducks. Today he drank some water out of a water bowl. He brings lots of smiles.

Ladies I sure appreciate your patience this holiday season. Life became very intense for me in Az as I cared for my mom and then my Aunt getting in a car accident and also needing assistance. It was a test for me that I believe some days I did ok and other days I feel like I failed miserably. It was not on my bingo card but I had to learn quickly to play the hand I was given. I am still in Az for a few more weeks at least helping to get both ladies on the road to self sufficiency. Both are doing well. With that being said, I hope to be home sometime early Feb. I am debating revamping the Heaven Bible Study to a once a month Book Club and starting over so others can join in. The bible study “Hearing God” will be a 6 week study and I have the books with me here in Az now to mail out to those who are going to be participating and will do that this week. This will start also after I return. or feel free to dive into on your own. I apologize this didn’t get started in Nov. I am going to hopefully get back to diving into the community and posting more regularly after this week. A lot going on with a lot of driving. Hey sweet ladies 🤍, I wanted to follow up on my New Year message and share where my heart is right now for our community. When I first wrote you, I was planning on restarting Bible studies and doing book club style gatherings once I got back home. And while I still love those kinds of studies, the more I’ve been praying about this next season, the more I feel led in a slightly different direction. This season of caregiving and slowing down has really reminded me how full and stretched most of our lives already are — and I don’t want this community to ever feel like another thing on your to-do list. I want it to feel like a place you can come for encouragement, connection, and real conversations about faith and life, even on your busiest days. So instead of structured studies right now, I’m shifting toward bringing short, 3–5 minute encouragements, honest conversations, prayer, and community connection back into this space — the kind of support you can listen to while driving, folding laundry, or just taking a quiet moment for yourself. 🤍 My heart is still the same: to walk with you, encourage you, and grow together as women of faith — just in a way that fits better with the real seasons we’re all living in right now. I’m really excited about this next chapter for our community, and I can’t wait to be more present here again as we step into February.
