Something that happened today
I went to a christening for my wife’s God daughter. It was at a church. I’m thinking this won’t be long. We went to church to enjoyed the service After the event was over. They said it’s gonna be food at another location from 2-8pm. I like to eat so of course we stayed in the area until it was time to eat. Long story short we get there and it’s just a bunch of food and free drinks. So if yal ain’t no I just quit drinking. And sometimes i get urges to drink. Just from dealing with triggers and trauma. Long story short i didn’t drink. This the first time in my life, I didn’t cave in. That’s a win for me. It made me feel more confident that I got what It takes to stop on some real shit
