I'm met Ken through craigslist. we had a totally anonymous sex relationship for six months. I never knew his name and never wanted to know his name he never talked to me except for "I'm ready for you Mr. Fischer". one day he stopped and looked at the artwork in my basement where the bedroom was and said "I love your house and I love your painting". that dramatically altered our relationship from anonymity to friendship unfortunately I was the OTHER woman in his marriage to his wife and he was determined to have me meet his wife to which I kept saying "absolutely not!"
One day he came over for sex and looked at me point blank and said I've decided to become a woman to which I said OK how about if you let me photograph the process which took approximately two years the following images are only a small portion of the thousands of photos that I shot of her and the book which I eventually created on her transformation, she/her
She wanted more say into what went into the book and I said this is my book and although I appreciate your input you have nothing to do with the final outcome of this project! We've talked on and off for years but we are no longer friends and now we don't see each other at all but I'm proud of the work that I did and the endless dealing with her vanity rejection difficulty emotional roller coaster and everything that was involved in creating these photos
