This is the place where we work together to help students achieve through better IEP writing and planning. This is the place for families to get support in communicating with the school team, and for teachers to learn how to write and implement more effective IEPs that help learners thrive. I am a 13-year veteran of teaching. I'm a DHH teacher (d/Deaf and hard of hearing), a Special Education teacher, and I have helped scores of families navigate the process of getting the supports and services their children deserve to help them thrive and become the best versions of themselves. Also please grab your "Introducing our student" worksheet for families to introduce their child to the IEP team holistically in a way that honors their child's individuality and uniqueness as a complete human being from a strengths-based perspective.
