Welcome to Treasure Hunting Twins! Glad you found us — whether you stumbled on a curbside gem, inherited a box of curios, or just like the thrill of spotting value where others see “trash.” We’re here to show you how to flip those finds into a healthy, honest profit without losing your sense of fun (or your sanity). What we do •Teach practical, no-nonsense flipping skills: how to spot value, clean and repair, price right, and list with listings that actually sell. •Share real-world tips on sourcing: thrift stores, estate sales, auctions, flea markets, and those random online scores. •Break down the business side: costs, margins, taxes basics, and shipping without the horror stories. •Offer inspiration: before-and-afters, success stories, and the occasional “you won’t believe what this was” moment. Who this is for •Newcomers curious about turning finds into income. •Weekend flippers looking to boost profit and efficiency. •Experienced resellers who want fresh ideas and a friendly community. How we roll •Be curious and kind. Ask questions, share wins and flops (we learn from both). •No spam or sketchy offers — this is a place to build skills and relationships. •Photos welcome. Show your treasures, ask for ID/help, and celebrate the flips. Start here •Introduce yourself: what you hunt, what you hope to flip, and one item you’d love to find. •Peek at our starter guides and quick tips — short reads that actually help. •Join a conversation: post a photo, ask a pricing question, or tell a funny hunting story. Welcome again — we’re excited to see what you find (and how you make it pay). Happy hunting — and flipping! — The Treasure Hunting Twins

One of our Most Fabulous Flips!
This gorgeous Wedgewood set whispered softly to me as I walked past it once, ever so beautifully staged on the thrift store counter, “take me home.” I immediately knew that walking past was a mistake! Just as I shouted, “sold!” And began furiously gathering the pieces, another woman walked up and stated, “bummer! I should have picked it up!” Yes, my thrifty neighbor, you should have! This bodacious set of 52 perfect pieces brought in a profit of over $300, in just an few weeks, after fees and shipping 😱 In the photo shown, we pieced out just the plates (24 pieces). I REALLY wanted to keep this set, but I put my hustle hat on, and made some cash instead. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut! What did we pay for this entire set? $30!

eBay. List it or leave it?
Hey hunters — one of our most asked questions: is selling on eBay worth it? Maybe. It depends on how much time and effort you want to spend. In the pictured example: we paid $0.25 at a garage sale for this cute Piggie. Shipping supplies were about $0.19, so our cost was $0.44 — for us, that’s a win. But if you paid $1 and spent 10 minutes measuring and prepping, profits shrink fast. Decide your target margins up front so you don’t get hit by surprise fees. How much time should you spend for around $5 profit? Have you considered your direction?
