I've taught and examined English for over 25 years and am currently Head of English in a 7-18 Independent School in the UK.
My career has taught me many things and one strand really stands out - poetry is not your average teenagers' passion project. It's a good job it's mine!
I've created this community to focus on the Edexcel IGCSE English Literature poetry comparison task. It's worth a whopping 20% of the IGCSE.
I'm going to create step by step resources to enable you to access each poem, learn how to analyse and then build your comparison skills. My strategies are tried and tested and generate the results you deserve.
