I heard the heartbeat!
Do you remember when you heard your baby's heartbeat the first time? I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time over 25 years ago.
But yesterday, I had the honor and privilege to hear my Grandbaby's heartbeat!
It wasn't planned - I have been staying at my daughter's house over this past week because she was sick, flu probably. I have been there to take care of my baby who is taking care of her baby, my grandbaby! Her regular check up with the midwives was on the calendar and I have been driving her places so of course I was invited to go into the room.
When I heard that heartbeat I was excited but I am even more excited to tell you about the experience! Because sometimes reliving the experience brings out more emotions than when it is happening.
I celebrate February 5, 2025, as the day I heard my baby's baby's heartbeat! 💗🥰💗
