Hey everyone — welcome!
I wanted to start our time here with something simple, but powerful:
There’s no one way to tell a story.
When we say “tell your story,” it can sound big, overwhelming — even impossible.
But what if we start smaller?
There are different kinds of stories we carry, share, or stumble upon:
✨ Stories about our life
These are often broad, reflective, and layered:
- “This is who I am.”
- “This is how I became who I am.”
- “This is what I’ve always struggled with.”
They’re personal, complex, and sometimes hard to tell in one go.
They need space — and trust.

These are often shorter, more specific, and grounded in experience:
- “This is what happened when I tried to speak up at work.”
- “This is how it felt to be in that meeting.”
- “This is what someone once said to me that I never forgot.”
These stories are often easier to share — and incredibly rich in insight.
🧠Why this matters here
In this space, we’ll work with both kinds of stories:
- The personal, unfolding stories of who we are
- And the situational stories that capture real-life moments — sometimes funny, sometimes painful, often illuminating
Some of our conversations will be reflective.
Others will be practical, method-based, or collaborative.
But every time, a story will be the seed.
💬 For today, I’d love to hear:
What kind of story feels easier for you to share right now?
- A story about your life?
- Or a story from a specific experience or context?
Feel free to respond in a sentence, a paragraph, or even just an emoji.
