Time Is Running Out
This may sound dark, but I remind myself often that one day, my parents won’t be here. It’s a hard truth, but it pushes me to call them, visit them, and make the most of the time we have together.
This isn’t just something I do, it’s a Stoic practice. Memento Mori reminds us that nothing is permanent. The great Stoics understood this truth and used it as a reason to appreciate life, not fear it.
Who in your life do you need to spend more time with? Who deserves to hear from you today?
Call them. Visit them. Strengthen the relationships that matter, before time runs out.
