Read that one a couple of times.
We talk a lot about freedom, financial freedom, freedom over our time, freedom to live how we want.
But Epictetus puts forward a different definition entirely.
Today, I'm not going to break the quote down. I want the brotherhood to do it.
What does being “master of yourself” actually mean?
And here's the harder question:
Can a man have everything he wants externally and still not be free?
