When I was in school there was a series of small books called Cliff Notes, each one was the meat and potatoes, or the main points of a book. Students would use them to "cheat" on book reports before wikipedia or AI was even a thing. When I was co-founding my own style some years back, it was my job to write it all down. So we would drill it and then I would have to find the words to write so I could remember what we drilled. By writing it down, it made me understand it not only in practice, but also how to mentally explain it (namely to myself) as we weren't doing videos. It became my Cliff Notes of the style. We would play with things in class, but i always had my notes to fall back on. Just yesterday I checked my Cliff Notes and had a chuckle as The Stick & Sword School 6 angles are done the same in my old school but we called them Scottish Angles and have a downward cut and a thrust as 7 and 8. (10 for Irish) We also hold it in the sword grip when doing the Scottish angles. So it was nice to see it in writing to compare and not rely of my aging memory. When i have the time, I plan of doing the same thing with the Classroom here, writing things down to help aide my memory away from the computer. I suggest you try it to.
