Many evenings, when I go to bed, I feel overstimulated instead of sleepy. I’ve noticed it’s often worse if I’ve stayed up too late. It’s also much harder for me to fall asleep when I know I have to get up very early the next morning.
Do you have any recommendations for creating a healthier bedtime routine? How much earlier would you suggest going to bed, and for how long should I stick with a new bedtime before my body and nervous system begin to adapt?
