Hi everyone! 🤍 My name is Hessa, but my friends and family call me Suzie. I’m originally from a tiny warm island called Bahrain 🌴 but life took a fun little turn and now I live on another island 💙 the kind I absolutely love 😍 rainy, cold, and freezing Edinburgh, Scotland 💙 I’m a proud mom to one son, and I’ve been a single mom for 20 years, which has been one of the most challenging and beautiful journeys of my life. I’d love to help grow this space too, so I plan to invite any single moms I come across in my circles or other communities so we can keep building a supportive movement together 🤍 In my free time, you’ll usually find me reading, going for long walks, or happily enjoying my alone time (something I’ve really learned to appreciate!). And if we’re talking about food… my absolute favorite is a good Trieste Goulash 😙👌 it’s pure comfort in a bowl! What I’m really hoping to gain from being here is connection, encouragement, and the chance to learn from other incredible single moms who truly understand this journey 🙏 I’m really happy to be here with you all 🤍

So happy to be a part of this community. I have been seeking community in general, and in my seeking as a single mom, I’ve had challenges when it comes to making new friends locally. So here I am! I am 32. I have been a single mom for 7 years. I’ve also been in recovery for co-occurring disorder’s but the mental health aspect and symptoms came before the substance use disorder — which was me trying to self medicate in my teens and early 20s. I’ve been single, focused on recovery, from living a lifestyle of nonstop chaos. My upbringing included. These past 7+ years have been miraculous to me. I found hope. Faith. I chose motherhood and treatment. I’m hoping to connect with other single moms/moms in general because going at it completely alone is hard. Excited to get to know everyone. 💌

Hi mommas! I'm a recently divorced mom of 4 adult kids and a Nonnie to a 6 year old (tomorrow) and a 3 year old. I just recently lost my job in assisted livingdue to me being sick. So I'm a little bummed today since I can't afford to get my grandbaby anything. I'm really struggling with not only that but also rent. Financially right more sucks for me, but personally I'm doing great. I'm over the jump from my divorce and out in the dating world for the first time ever. (I was 15 when I got with my ex husband.) so I'm just trying to navigate life as best as I can. I do love to go out when I can and love to meet up and chat or people watch.
