Pakistani filmmaker based in Toronto helping emerging filmmakers create festival-worthy short films. My work has premiered at TIFF and SXSW, and I’ve co-produced/cast internationally acclaimed films including Joyland, winner of the Cannes Un Certain Regard Jury Prize and Queer Palm. Over the past 8+ years, I’ve worked across directing, producing, assistant directing, casting, and script development — helping films move from script to screen to international festivals.
