Iâve always loved hair. As a hairdresser and makeup artist, I spent years making people feel beautiful. But over time, I started seeing something I couldnât fix with a cut or a product recommendation.
I saw clients losing their hair. Family members struggling. People I cared aboutâespecially those with textured hairâasking for help. And I had nothing real to offer but surface solutions.
âTry this oil.â
âAvoid heat.â
âMaybe itâs stress.â
I realised that for textured hair (curly, wavy, coily), the advice was based on appearance, not science. It ignored structure, mechanics, and material behavior.
Thatâs why I became a Trichology Practitioner. I didn't stop loving hairâI wanted to understand it. I am currently studying Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology because hair loss isn't just about the scalp. Itâs about your gut health, your hormones, and your immune system.
The Core Belief: Understanding Beats Products
Most people donât have a hair problem. They have an understanding problem. Youâve been taught to follow routines, but you haven't been taught how hair actually works.
Inside this community, we focus on:
- Geometry & Structure: Curls as biomechanical features, not categories.
- Material Behavior: How porosity, elasticity, and stiffness actually work.
- The Internal-External Connection: How your body (gut/hormones) speaks through your scalp.
- Assessment Before Action: Learning to read patterns instead of reacting to today's dryness.
