The Rooted Assembly is a private ancestral collective and national network for Black American spiritualists, rootworkers, conjure workers, Hoodoo practitioners, Vodou practitioners, ancestral practitioners, and others rooted in African and African diasporic spiritual traditions.
We gather to commune, build relationships, exchange knowledge and resources, and examine injustices affecting Black Americans through a spiritual and communal lens.
Rooted in Ancestry • Justice • Balance, the Assembly creates a protected space for remembrance, research, collective discernment, community support, and voluntary spiritual collaboration.
There is no single spiritual path or spiritual leader here. Each member brings their own traditions, knowledge, relationships, resources, and discernment to the collective.
We remember what has been forgotten. We examine what has been left unanswered. We strengthen the network so our community is never without one another.
