Teaching your child to write is a tough concept if you've never done it before. How do you know if they're left or right handed? Letters, spaces, sentences, oh my! What do you do if your child is struggling with writing? When should you be concerned? How can we strengthen those hand muscles? Should I teach print, cursive or both? All of these questions as well as writing exercises, resources and curriculum ideas are answered inside this course.

While social emotional elements are not a requirement for the state, they are a requirement for life and teaching our children healthy emotions, healthy expression of those emotions, self-regulation as well as executive functioning are important building blocks for their foundation. Part of homeschooling is teaching children all the skills they're going to need to thrive in life that they aren't going to learn anywhere else. Personal Hygiene, how to do chores and contribute to the family as a team, basic safety, kitchen basics- all of these and more are taught right here in this course. Parents- this section is more for your reference to know what to teach your children and less on how they should do it.
