UPDATES: Ritual Method 50-Hour Ayurvedic Sequencing CEU
Hello Teachers ✨ I hope you’ve all been easing into this season with softness and intention. After reviewing our curriculum and everyone’s teaching schedules, I’ve made a few updates to the structure of our upcoming Ritual Method™ 50-Hour Ayurvedic Sequencing CEU course to support you more fully. I know we’re all navigating different commitments, studio timelines and energetic capacities ... so I’ve blended the program into LIVE + PRERECORDED components to make the learning experience more flexible, spacious, and aligned with your real lives. The live sessions will run from January 14th through February 22nd, and you will have until March 31st, 2026 to complete all course requirements for certification. This gives you an extra month of integration time after the live portion ends. And if life gets in the way or you need more time, no stress at all! You’ll simply be moved into the next cohort in late spring so you can continue at a pace that feels good for your nervous system. I hope this helps you feel grounded, supported and excited for what’s ahead. 🤎 ✨ NEW SCHEDULE January 14 – February 22, 2026 -Wednesdays 6:00–8:30pm EST (Live on Zoom) -1 Saturday Asana Lab Intensive -All calls are recorded and uploaded within 24hours. You'll have a mix of theory, sequencing labs, Ayurveda lessons and movement-based integration each week. ✨ CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To receive your 50-Hour Ritual Method Certification + Yoga Alliance CE hours, you’ll complete the following by March 14th, 2026: ✔ Attend at least 3 of the 6 Wednesday live calls (OR submit replay reflections for any missed sessions) ✔ Attend the Asana Lab OR submit the alternate practicum video (Replay available, but alternate practicum is required if not attended live) ✔ Complete all weekly assignments + self-paced modules (recorded lessons, worksheets, movement labs) ✔ Submit your final teaching practicum (10–20 minutes — details will be shared during Week 1) If you have any questions, need accommodations or simply want to check in, feel free to reply here anytime. I’m so excited to guide you through this next chapter of your teaching journey!

Yoga is a powerful psycho-emotional practice. It can regulate the nervous system, and it can also surface emotions or memories people don’t always expect. That isn’t inherently negative: it’s simply the nature of mind–body work. I’m not taking a position on this particular case, but I am interested in the bigger question it raises: How do we balance teacher responsibility with participant agency, especially when practices are intentionally designed to access the emotional body? From my own experience, over a decade of practicing, teaching and learning from my body... I’ve become more sensitive to how essential grounding and integration truly are. Deepening my practice and holding space for others has shown me how much can rise when we slow down, feel, and breathe. My teachers always reminded us that these practices are subtle, but highly effective. And historically, yoga was taught one-on-one for a reason...meditation, pranayama and lineage-based practices often required a teacher who understood the student’s emotional and energetic capacity. Modern group classes are new in comparison. This isn’t about gatekeeping. It’s about honesty. Even something as gentle as Yoga Nidra is widely used for nervous system support, is most impactful when guided by someone trained to hold the space safely. Of course, accessible online versions have value, but individualized support exists for a reason. This whole space is complex, layered, and evolving. I’d love to hear your insights on this? What learnings have you experienced over the years teaching?
