What Changed When I Stopped Letting Everyone Book Me
I had a real moment recently.
Coach Jennifer told me I needed to start prequalifying people before letting them book my 30-minute Calm Money Pathway Calls.
At first I was like… wait, what?
Because in my head, I’m trying to help everybody.
But that was the problem.
I was getting on calls with people who weren’t ready, and it was draining my time and energy.
So I switched it up.
Now I actually take a second to see:
• Who’s ready for support right now
• Who just needs free tools
• Who needs a little direction first
And when I tell you that small shift changed everything…
Out of 14 conversations:
• I got on the phone with 10 solid people
• 2 joined my subscription
• A few grabbed paid products
• And even the ones who didn’t buy still got free resources
That’s a 70% conversion rate.
But honestly… the numbers ain’t even the best part.
What I’m noticing now is people trust me more.
They’re asking questions.
They’re opening up.
They’re actually ready to do the work.
And something else I didn’t expect…
The way I teach—simple, real-life, no pressure—
it’s helping people who usually feel left out of these conversations.
People who need it broken down without feeling dumb or overwhelmed.
That right there means more than anything.
This whole experience taught me:
Everybody doesn’t need the same level of help—and that’s okay.
My job is to meet people where they are and guide them from there.
