THE END OF THE RECONCILIATION CLASSROOM
Please be informed that as of June 3, 2025, The Reconciliation Classroom will be closed. With low engagement and a high cost, I have decided to focus my efforts on LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Thank you for joining me here. It was a fun experiment. Miigwetch.
Shut Up and Listen ...
One of the most frustrating challenges Indigenous people have faced in Canada, is the never-ending barrage of opinions from people who have never walked our path. Outsiders are constantly suggesting how we can improve our communities, what we should stop doing and what we should start ... without ever asking why we don't. Baked underneath the opinion is that settler colonialism, white supremacy attitude we know so well, the attitude that has others still believing we need to be saved. I tripped over this video a few years back. It has nothing to do with Indigenous/Canadian reconciliation, yet in my opinion, it is right on point. What do you think? Questions and comments are more than welcome. Just remember the rules of engagement. https://www.ted.com/talks/ernesto_sirolli_want_to_help_someone_shut_up_and_listen/transcript
Youth Event Today!
Doing my part, trying to pay forward to pay back today. I am back on my home turf, here to speak to some youth that are starting to go down a bad path. Prayers that I can reach them!

Question for You ...
Every morning, I share a Morning Message here in the Reconciliation Classroom. Any guesses why? I will reveal the reason, but first I want to hear why YOU think I do it? No wrong answers. Just valuable info for me. Miigwetch for any responses.
Question for You ...
What Would YOU Like to Learn About?
What confuses you the most about reconciliation? Is there a topic or challenge you would like to learn more about? Let me know it the comments. This classroom is for YOU, after all.
