BOUNDARIES AREN’T RUDE… THEY’RE SELF RESPECT
A lot of us were taught to: over explain, keep the peace, put everyone else first then feel guilty for saying no But rebuilding yourself means learning this: You are allowed to protect your energy. You are allowed to need space. You are allowed to stop carrying things that are hurting you. Boundaries are not about shutting people out…they’re about creating safety within yourself 🤍 Sometimes healing looks like:• replying later• saying no without guilt• not fixing everyone• resting• walking away from chaos• choosing yourself for once What’s one boundary you’re learning to create right now?
Today’s Reminder: You Don’t Have To Earn Rest
A lot of women in survival mode only let themselves rest once they’ve hit breaking point. Once the house is done. Once everyone else is okay. Once the work is finished. Once they’re completely exhausted. But your nervous system was never meant to live in constant pressure. Today, I want you to pause for a second and ask yourself: What would change in my life if I stopped believing I had to “do it all” to deserve peace? This is your reminder that slowing down is not laziness. Rest is productive. Boundaries are healthy. And softening doesn’t make you weak.
