The Chart of the Divine Self
A Portrait of You and the God Within You
Saint Germain released what is known as the Chart of the Divine Self as a way for us to understand who we truly are—not as personality, not as history, but as spiritual anatomy. This chart is not symbolic only. It is instructional. It is a map of your origin, your present state, and your destiny. It is a portrait of you—and of the God within you.
The I AM Presence — Your Divine Source
At the top of the chart is the I AM Presence. This is the Presence of God individualized for you.Your personalized I AM that I AM. It is not separate from God—it is God, expressing as you. Perfect. Whole. Eternal. Surrounding the I AM Presence are seven concentric spheres of spiritual energy, known as the causal body. These spheres contain the accumulated record of every constructive act, loving thought, and noble deed you have performed since your very first incarnation on Earth. They are your cosmic treasury—your spiritual bank account. Nothing good is ever lost.
The Holy Christ Self — Your Higher Self
The middle figure on the chart represents your Holy Christ Self, also called your Higher Self.
Think of this presence as:
- Your closest guardian
- Your inner teacher
- Your truest friend
- The voice of conscience and wisdom within
Just as the I AM Presence is God individualized, the Holy Christ Self is the Universal Christ individualized for you. “Christ” is not a surname. It is a state of consciousness—oneness with the Higher Self. This is why Jesus was called Jesus the Christ. Every soul is destined to achieve this same union, whether we call it:
- Christ
- Buddha
- Tao
- Atman
Christian mystics called this presence the inner man of the heart.The Upanishads describe it as a being the size of a thumb dwelling deep within the heart. You have felt this presence in moments of:
- Love
- Creativity
- Joy
- Clarity
And you have felt the pain of disconnection when you fall out of alignment. The spiritual path is about learning to sustain this connection. The Crystal Cord — Your Lifeline to Spirit Flowing from the I AM Presence, through the Holy Christ Self, down to the soul is a shaft of white light. This is the crystal cord, sometimes called the silver cord. It is your:
- Lifeline
- Umbilical cord to God
- Channel of spiritual nourishment
Through this cord flows divine energy that sustains the threefold flame within your heart. The Threefold Flame — The Divine Spark Within the secret chamber of your heart burns a spark of sacred fire, transmitted from the heart of God to yours. This is the threefold flame, expressing the primary attributes of Spirit:
- Power
- Wisdom
- Love
Mystics across all traditions have spoken of this spark:
- Buddhists call it the germ of Buddhahood
- The Katha Upanishad calls it the light concealed in the high place of the heart
- Meister Eckhart called it God’s seed within us
This flame is your divine inheritance. It is what makes awakening possible. The Soul — You on the Path
The lower figure in the chart represents you, the soul evolving on Earth.
You are surrounded by:
- The violet flame of transmutation
- The protective white light of God
The soul is the living potential of God—mortal in form, yet destined for immortality. The purpose of your soul’s journey on Earth is to:
- Achieve self-mastery
- Balance karma
- Fulfill your divine mission
- Return consciously to the spiritual realms
When this journey is complete, the soul ascends—free from karma and rebirth—and becomes an Ascended Master. The violet flame accelerates this process by transmuting misqualified energy back into light. The Greater Understanding This chart reveals something profound: You are not trying to become divine. You are learning to remember and embody what you already are.
The I AM Presence is who you truly are. The Christ Self is your bridge. The soul is your journey.
And the flame in your heart is the proof.
