How do you see yourself as a parent?
I've seen a pattern over the last 38 years.
That pattern is this...
Many people who
struggle in life are often lacking
a positive self-image
Notice I said many...not all
Many people who struggle in life today
often grew up with parents who had a
negative self-image also.
Those parents couldn't give their kids something
that they didn't have themselves.
The kids lack confidence
because the parents lack confidence
The kids lack courage
because the parents lack courage
And the parents lacked courage
because they had no one to encourage them
So my question to you is...
How do you see yourself as a parent?
What example are you setting for you child to follow?
---
The first step to improving self...is to be self-aware.
The second step is to desire better for yourself/child.
The third step is to be humble and accept the truth...that you don't know everything.
The community you grew up in might not have had people who encouraged you...but now you're an adult with the power to choose your community.
I'm glad you've chosen to be a part of this community...you're in the right place 😊
I'm a great parent. There is no room for improvement. I'm 100% perfect
I'm a pretty good parent but I don't know everything
I'm an average parent...just trying to do my best
I'm a terrible parent...if my kids follow my example, I would be disappointed
