Still working on the set for this Saturday’s big Christmas gig. Some pop classics and the hymns.

I have a huge Christmas gig coming up next week so I begun the task of gathering and arranging out the setlist and testing what keys and songs I'll need to shed specifically over the next few days.

Practice for 12/2/25 - Warm-up - Major scale and Modes over entire fingerboard w/out metronome - 4 finger chromatic exercises ascending and descending w/all strings using down and upstrokes - Remainder of practice: CGA - EJV 4.6 7th Arpeggio into Pivot Arpeggio, from Wes Montgomery "Sundown", Exercises in key of C,Bb Eb,F, D,G

today's practice focused on bits of language and expanding on ideas, as well as practicing enclousures. i'm taking a step back from bebop scales for now. major 251s are completed and minor 251s are next.

practiced some Monk tunes - Criss Cross - Rhythm-A-Ning also worked on more major 251s (9/12). practicing major bebop scales by starting from the root, 3rd and 5th (2/12).
