Why are men’s colour palettes limited?
Ken Sakata gives an excellent historical summary as to why. Ken is a fashion designer from Australia now living in Japan. His brand is Front Office and gives incredible thought into each season’s designs as you will see. Enjoy.

The opposite of war is care
This was a phrase I heard this morning on my walk. It is not peace it is care. It was a podcast about the value of connecting textiles to our history. This particular episode was about the quilts women made for soldiers during the second world war and what they meant to those who received them. We have a special fashion historian guest talking to us about the origins of the pocket square at the end of this month. I hope you will join us as we learn from our past to appreciate the impact we have in our present day. When care exists it is hard to war. Here is the podcast. Enjoy.
