Zac Edits Your Photos Live is happening in 8 days

Hey! Start here 📸
Welcome to The Photographer's Pathway. I'm glad you're in! Your first move is simple: 1. Open the Classroom 2. Go to the 15-Day Challenge 3. Do Day 1 today That's it. One challenge, one day at a time, that's how you actually get better, and it's how this whole place works. When you've done Day 1, post your shot in the community. Doesn't matter if you're not happy with it. That's kind of the point. See you in there. Zac

The 15-Day Challenge - how this works 📸
This is the reason most of you are here, so let's keep it simple 💪 What you're about to do: One challenge per day, for 15 days. Each one is a hands-on shooting exercise that builds one specific skill. No hour-long videos, no theory dumps. You read the brief, you pick up your camera, you shoot. Most take 10–60 minutes. Where to find it: Classroom → 15-Day Challenge → Day 1. A new day unlocks every 24 hours. (IMPORTANT) How to share your work: After each challenge, post your shots here in the community with this title: Day X - Your Name (Unless prompted otherwise in the challenge) So mine today would be Day 1 - Zac Watson. That's it. This keeps everyone's progress easy to find and on Day 15, you'll be very glad your Day 1 photos are labelled, because comparing them is the whole point. Three rules: 1. Do the days in order. They build on each other, and Day 1 exists for a very good reason (you'll see on Day 15). 2. Missed a day? Don't spiral. Just pick up where you left off. A finished challenge in 20 days beats abandoned on day 6. 3. Post even when you're not happy with the shots. Especially then. The messy work is where the real feedback happens, and I read what gets posted. Oh, and in regard to editing, great question! Don't do anything crazy. Light edits only, no Photoshop or heavy masking/adjustments. If you're wondering what a 'light' edit looks like, download the preset attached and use it on your photos! That's everything. Open Day 1 and go shoot. Zac

💪 How to get the most out of this community
Now that you've started the challenge (if you haven't click here) Here's everything else worth knowing. First: introduce yourself. Make a post with three things: - Who you are and what you shoot (Include your IG@) - The one thing you're stuck on with photography right now - And then the photo you're most proud of What happens here every week: - Daily challenges inside the Classroom (for the first 15 days) - Weekly photography challenges (outside of the 15 day challenge) - Live calls and Q&As - Live editing sessions - you submit photos, the community votes, and I edit the top picks live so you can see exactly how a shot gets transformed How to use the community: - Post your photos, especially the ones you're unsure about - Ask anything. Genuinely. No question is too basic (you can check if something has been spoken about with the search bar up the top!) - Give other members real feedback. Not "cool shot" - tell them what's working and what you'd change. You learn as much from critiquing as from shooting. The rules (short, because we're all adults): - Be honest, be kind. Both, always - No self-promo or link dumping - Your own photos only And me: I'm in here every day - reading posts, giving feedback, answering questions. If you're stuck, post about it. You're not doing this alone, that's why this exists. Awesome! Stay creative, Zac 📸
Closing this down :(
Hey guys, I really appreciate you believing in this with me but it's been an up hill battle to get more people interested and it's not viable long term. So I will be closing this community down. Don't worry, no one has been charged anything! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support and I'll see you all back over on Instagram! Take care guys!
What are you guys shooting this weekend?!
It's the first weekend of this community being active and I'm stoked to have the first few members on board! So I'd love to know, what are you shooting (or editing) this weekend? I've jsut finished shooting some of my first ever 360 video with the DJI Avata 360. A little left field for sure but it was an interesting expereince for sure 😅 Anyway, let me know what you're shooting in the comments on this post and attach some photos if possible!
